  Parent Child Yoga Class    Saturday, November 25 - 9-10am    Summit Artspace      Join Tracie from Akron Yoga and Wellness for a Parent Child yoga class at Crafty Marts 9th Annual Holiday Show! You will work on breathing, stretching and moving together to strengthen coordination and build body awareness. This fun class provides key bonding methods between parent and child, while strengthening their growing muscles. Caregivers welcome. No yoga experience is required. Appropriate for children 3-9 years of age. Each ticket includes entry for 1 parent and 1 child. Extra tickets must be purchased for additional spots beyond the 1 parent and 1 child. After the yoga class, be sure to take your kids to Crafty Mart's $5 Kid Drop-Off Workshops from 10-1pm!  Tracie is a Yoga Medicine Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, Life Coach & Reiki Master. She draws upon her anatomy and alignment education to create safe, nurturing and healing experiences for her clients. By inviting her clients to rethink what their bodies are capable of and encourage a healthy dialogue with self, her classes offer challenges on physical, emotional and spiritual levels. All of her trainings and programs are built around healing and gaining a stronger connection with self. Kids Drop Off Class

Saturday, November 25th - 10am-Noon

Bring your kiddos to the 2nd floor of Summit Artspace during our 9th Annual Crafty Mart Holiday Show! Marissa McClellan, Crafty Mart’s Director of Education, will be leading the kids in a variety of different crafts to choose from. 

Classes are designed to let you (the parents) get some holiday shopping done kid free! Kids will have the opportunity to create and explore with different mediums of crafting and art. $5 per kiddo!

All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring any special pieces you want to incorporate into your design.   Danielle Hupp is, by day, the Associate Director of Kent State University’s Annual Giving Program. By night, Danielle is a creative superhero who takes ordinary objects and turns them into extraordinary pieces for her and others around her to enjoy!  Danielle has a master’s degree in public administration from Kent State University and is a past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Northeast Ohio chapter. In addition, she works with the Women’s Endowment Fund of the Akron Community Foundation, is an alumni of Torchbearers, and serves as co-chair of the Sugar Plum Tour. Danielle loves helping people make their spaces beautiful and believes everyone has the capacity to create art.

This is a great introduction to the fiber art of weaving and no experience is required. Jennifer graduated from the University of Akron in 2006 with a BA in Visual Arts Education. When she's not wrangling her quad squad of geriatric Chihuahuas or planning her next motorcycle adventure, Jennifer is on a mission to provide enriching and creative art experiences to artists of all ages in her community.
