Please let me introduce you to another of our many artisans coming to The Mom & Pop Shoppe on Saturday, April 25th.  This is the fourth in a series of Vendor Spotlights where we let those who will be sharing their wares shine a light on what it is they do.  The following profile is Brittany from Little Green Guy's response to a mini-questionnaire.

1). What's your name and what is it that you make?

Hello! My name is Brittany Martin, owner and artist behind Little Green Guy! I create plush toys, sculptures, prints and children's books all based upon the world of monsters I have created (friendly little guys of course.) I love creating the little green guy and his animal friends! Any and every critter, but with only one eye of course! Why? Well why not!

2). How did you acquire the unique skill set to do what it is you do?

I've always had my hands in something artistic, but it wasn't until after my children were born that I learned to let go a bit and unleash my whimsical side. I studied art heavily in high school, taking advanced and private study courses, but as far as sewing and sculpting go I have trial and error to thank.

3).  What is your best seller?

Probably the basic little green guy plush! Turn him over for the best part, ha!

4).  How long have you been vending? Have you done the Mom & Pop Shoppe before?

I have been selling Little Green Guys for just shy of 4 years! I have yet to come to the Mom & Pop Shoppe but am crazy excited to dive in!
