We're excited to bring you another in a series of profiles to introduce you to a few of our artisans coming to the 7th Annual Crafty Mart Holiday Show on Saturday and Sunday, November 28th-29th.  This is just one in a series of Vendor Spotlights where we let those who will be sharing their wares shine a light on what it is they do.  The following profile is Liz from Aromaholic and her response to a mini-questionnaire.

1). What's your name and what is it that you make?

My name is Liz Drabik of Aromaholic. I make lip balms and soaps with scents and flavors inspired by classic cocktails, modern mixed drinks and craft beers, as well as some pop culture themed products.

2). How did you acquire the unique skill set to do what it is you do?

A combination of scientific background (I have a B.S. in chemistry), years of studying natural product formulation and aromatherapy, and some trial and error. I also spent the better part of my 20s doing market research on cocktails and beers :)

3).  What is your best seller?

Online, it's a toss-up between the craft beer lip balm trio of Vanilla Porter, IPA and Belgian White Ale; the Gin & Tonic products; and my Twin Peaks-inspired "Agent Cooper" lip balms. At shows, it varies - I do rotate some flavors in and out with the seasons - but Margarita and Mimosa lip balms always seem to do well, and of course flavors like Red-Headed Slut generate lots of interesting conversation, especially from people who don't know that it's a cocktail!

4).  How long have you been vending? Have you done a Crafty Mart show before?

I launched Aromaholic in August 2010 and started doing shows that holiday season, so it's been five years now. Yes, I've been a part of several Crafty Marts in the past, and I'm always excited to make the trip down to Akron!

5). Coffee or tea?

Tea!! I'm completely hooked on Tea Dude's Thai-Chi blend, which I discovered at last year's Crafty Mart.

Thank you for answering our questions Liz. And, thanks for coming to the 7th Annual Crafty Mart Holiday Show. We'll see everyone on Sat. & Sun. Nov. 28th-29th at Musica, Akron Art Museum, and Summit Artspace.  You'll be able to find Aromaholic at Summit Artspace.
